decimus28
I've had a iCUE 7000x for a few months with this issue. It has 4 CORSAIR SP140 RGB ELITE fans that make a very distracting whooo noise especially at around 950rpm(using ICue). I've never had this issue with non failing fans. They are solidly mounted and the ML fans on the h170i elite lcd cooler are fine.(sounds like normal fans.) Based on testing all 4 case fans are making this noise and it varies based on rpms going away at higher speeds and loudest at about 950rpm. I can't leave the PC on over night due to this distracting and inconsistent noise. Is this normal, or is there a way to fix it?

decimus28
Sorry it took so long, took me a while to figure out how to rip the audio from the video. You have to turn it up a lot but you should be able to hear it by the end when I ramp them up and then back down to 950rpm. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1OUUn8NwNVJ7V_FG8MHnHb5zzibPwkBMP/view?usp=sharing
decimus28
The weird noise is way more noticeable than the normal fan noise in person. Edited February 7 by decimus28
decimus28
Actually the ML on the h170i make the whine at 1200 rpm. So both sets make that noise around 75ish percent. It sounds much worse when they are both doing it.
decimus28
Here is both making to noise from inside the case. The normal fan part is mostly blocked by the case when heard outside so it's basically just the whine there. Is it some sort of vibration issue? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qkPQSI5aHSh6G7U4c__b_Q_olo-PuKP9/view?usp=sharing
