omnikode
I Why in gods name does iCue's QMLrender service need 20-30% usage on a 3080Ti?!? This is on a very high end system. That adds like 50 dollars to my electric bill just browsing YouTube!!! This is ridiculous. Why is it tasking the GPU to begin with? Why couldn't software rendering handle this basic bs. This is a prime example of poor development. I've found the problem in the forums, and there is a single instance of a bad install but everyone else still had the problem even though the thread shows itself as "Solved". This implies that the resource usage for Corsairs QML Render service uses almost as much GPU horsepower as when I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077! THATS A LOT. More than a hundred dollars on a mouse whose features I am no longer going to be able to use because this software is absolutely unoptimized garbage and I refuse to use it after reading the other users here whose problems were clearly *not* solved. Does anyone know of a third party utility that can control the Corsair dark core pro se features? Corsair, do you have a chopped down utility so I can at least control the DPI of the mouse and my forward and back buttons without using iCUE? I don't need the LED's. AT IDLE. WHY CORSAIR? Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted February 6 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 6 Is that with the iCUE window actively opening and running in the foreground of the system? If not, what exact RGB effects are you using?
omnikode
Just now, Corsair Notepad said: Is that with the iCUE window actively opening and running in the foreground of the system? It uses the same resources it seems minimized and when using the dashboard in a second monitor, though rain is usually activated in the default profile. Murals drives it up past 40% usage. I've tried the recommended troubleshooting in an alternate thread where the issue was fixed by running a repair on the application. It just seems a little crazy to me that it is even capable of utilizing that much.

omnikode
Any chance on Corsair Dev's making a scaled down version of the utility so that users can strictly use the button mapping and mouse resolution profiles sans the lighting effects?
