Virtuoso XT always critical low

Recommended Posts

I've had these pair of headphones for about a year now, and they've been fairly good on battery life until now. When I plug them in and leave it for a couple of hours, they don't want to charge and are always critical low, no matter how long I leave them plugged in, and after a little bit, they'll shut off like the battery has died. I've already tried:

1. Restarting my PC

2. Soft resetting my headphones

3. Uninstalling and reinstalling iCue.

4. Using another device and seeing if it's the same

At this point I'm out of ideas. I don't really want to spend another $250, so any help would be appreciated.

Posting again in this thread because last time the issue seemed to resolve itself. Not sure what I did, but after a month or so of no problems, it's back.

Only this time, if I do charge it for a few hours and unplug it and change it to wireless mode, it will show a charged battery for a few seconds while it plays a high-pitched noise, which will then automatically turn the headset off and when I turn it back on, it shows critical low, and will only last for about the same time I charged it, which I know shouldn't happen. I've even let it die and try to charge it from there, but it doesn't seem to work either.

These headphones are like a year and half old and I'm running into these issues again, really just hope there's a permanent fix for this.
