Nagasaki
Just want to share this, maybe someone as Corsair will actaully figure out what on earth is going on. I have had 4 Corsair Dark Core Pro SE mice over the years and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has failed the same way. They start double clicking when I only press it once. I have tried everything under the sun to fix it, from a fresh install of Windows, Re-intsalling iCue, Re-fashing firmware, Older Firmware. Bluetooth, Wried mode and much more. Its clear is a fault with the physical hardware and not a software thing. I have had a terible week and I am in no mood for dealing with a mouse that makes it impossible to navigate my PC with it double clicking all the time. So, It ended up smashed to bloody bits. Cant double click if its not a mouse anymore. Thats How done I am with it. I am using my old one rn as it still mostly works. Double clicks here and there but not every damn click. Corsair, the rest of your stuff has served me fairly well, Fans, Case, Headset, Ram, Keyboards and so on but your mice.... not so much. And yes, I could of got an RMA... why? for it to start double clicking in 12 months? No thanks I will have to try something like the Logi G502, Not looking forward to adjusting to a new mouse. LeDoyen
if you take a logitech, take the G502X, with optical switches. I have had 3 G502, and i had to replace the switches after 3 t o6 months on each of them. Only the 502X is working flawlessly. All the mechanical switch mice across all brands suffer the same problem you had. At least those using 20 or "50 million" clicks switches. Not bad switches but manufacturers use them outside of their specifications and they fail super early. If you want to stick with Corsair, check out the M65 RGB Ultra, which also features optical switches. Also, careful with that lithium battery 😛

Fingers crossed it will last for that 1 year. Got it on sale for £111 at Argos in the UK as well.
Hiking_Buddy
The majority of the big PC name peripherals are garbage. They are made as cheap as possible, and charge up the A because "gamer". I had 2 Logitech G mice with the same double click issue. I bought one of their $200 keyboards, and after a couple of years, the keys would just start repeating random characters when I press 1 key. Seems like something fried on it. I bought their giant mouse pad for $60 and it was cut crooked. I dumped that garbage and switched to Corsair. After a few months, the mouse wheel on my Sabre Pro is worn out or something, and the scrolling barely works. It's a common problem apparently, so I am RMA'ing and it's just going to happen again. I maybe just buy another one of it, and have them on revolving RMAs, so I'll always have a working one while waiting for the other one to return. I don't know how Razer is now, but when I worked at a computer hardware retailer, we had piles of returns of broken Razer trash, and its some of the most expensive stuff.
