II dont like the extension/converter cables that come with the new 4000 series. 600W PCIe 5.0 12VHPWR Type-4 PSU Power Cable (corsair.com) The supported site makes no sense to me... PSU CABLE COMPATIBILITY (corsair.com) Can't even find out if I have a CORSAIR type-4 PSU 😄 PS the pricing in denmark from retailers is about 72 € 😛 Properly cheaper to buy a new powersupply and sell the old one. LeDoyen Posted January 9 Share Posted January 9 look at the RMi column and check what 24 pin motherboard cable it uses. that determines if it's type 3 or 4 🙂 It's a type 4 so it's fine. And there's a disclaimer above the table that states that all the cables except the motherboard one are identical between both types anyway.
