Giuseppe
I recently purchased the icue H150i Elite LCD. The screen was installed on a fresh new pc build. My setup: the hub and the LCD screen are on 2 separate USB headers directly on the motherboard. The fan used is CPU_FAN as advised in the installation guide of the AIO on the corsair website. The problem: the screen correctly powers up, while powering on is doing a nice animation making me think it's working fine, then it enters the hardware screen showing the coolant temp which seems to be correct (it also updates when the temp changes) When i installed the icue application all went smoothly except that there are two entities in the app which are LCD SCREEN and they are showed as unavailable. As you can see from the screenshot, there is also an H150i ELITE LCD entity that appears to be fine. I would be ok with the two unavailable entities, if it wasn't for the fact that updating the LCD screen appearance in the app won't update the screen which stays stuck in hardware screen. Interesting enough, the LED on the LCD screen do update accordingly with the "face i chose". The pump seems to be working correctly and i can update the fans correctly. Going in the "goog entity" i can see that there is an update for the LCD Screen Firmware, but then there is alabel saying "Device unavailable. out of range of..." and an available "update now" button. I can press this button, then the LCD power cycles and then the update is available again. The pump appears to be working properly. The two "dead" entities, one shows it's up to date (still unavailable) the other shows that an update is available like in the one in screenshot. What i tried: i tried to change usb headers, connect and disconnect the unit, i tried to completely uninstall the app and reinstall it, following this guide. nothing helped unfortunately. Giuseppe
The icue updates section in settings shows Pump Display, v. ? Updates appear to succede but they don't. The LCD screen power cycles, it stays off for few seconds then it returns to the hardware screen. icue app at this point still says v. ? but then it says also Latest version if i check for updates. Faulty firmware version? Edited January 5 by Giuseppe
Giuseppe
Important to note: the CPU_FAN on the motherboard has 4 pins, while the cable from the pump has only 3 pins. i used the 3 right most pins.
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted January 5 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 5 Make sure that your motherboard BIOS and chipset drivers are fully updated. Also what exact motherboard do you have? And what exact internal USB header on that motherboard are you plugging the LCD screen into?
Giuseppe
The motherboard is an Asus ROG Extreme z790 Hero. The USB headers are USB 2.0 headers. It's a fresh build and i would expect to work out of the box. i'll try to update the bios, even if it sounds like a weird requirement for the component to work. Giuseppe
So, i've update chipset and bios, and as i thought, nothing has changed. screenshots i provided before are still relevant. CPU: intel i9 13900K MB: Asus ROG Z790 Hero Grafic card: MSI Nvidia 4080 Gaming X TRIO Please let me know if anything else is needed to troubleshoot this. What exact internal USB 2.0 header are you plugging it into? They are normally labeled by printing on the PCB and you can also refer to your motherboard's manual most of the time as well. Giuseppe
They are labeled as USB_E12 and USB_E34 These are the only 2.0 headers my motherboard provides.

Giuseppe
It's two weeks now i reached out to the customer service and still no answers. For the brand reputation, and the cost of the product i would have expected a much better service honestly. I'll return the product and get a ROG cooler instead. Thank you for your help anyway. The missing resolution and missing support was disappointing.
Balsagna
Same issue for me man. Yeah, I'm going to return it. 2 weeks to get something resolved here is not like the Corsair I used to support. Why I don't buy most of their products except for the PSU's.
