flyinga2
Have an AIO H150i ICUE ELITE with COMMANDER and 5 individual ICUE RGB fans with NODE CORE. How would I connect the 2 controllers with the 8 fans? Edited January 2 by flyinga2 Content edit
c-attack
You will need to split the 8 fans between the two controllers for RGB purposes. Each controller acts like a separate lighting group, so split them up in a way that makes sense for your layout. For speed control, you can use the Commander Core to control all fans, assuming they are all PWM fans. Best solution is to get an inexpensive powered PWM hub. This is effectively a powered splitter for 4-10 fans and uses a SATA connector to power them. It then has one control lead back to the Commander Core. All fans on the PWM hub will run the same speed, but this is an easy place to put the 3 radiator fans or the front bank of 3x120 that don't need individual speed control. There are lot of these out there and it should cost less than $20 USD.
flyinga2
I have a SATA powered PWM hub so how would I connect the PWM fan hub to the Commander. And what about the ICUE light node that came with a 3 pack of ICUE PWM fans I purchased separately from the ICUE H150i ELITE?
