Got rid of my HS80 wireless headset b/c of the incessant beeping

I got the HS80 wireless headset like a year ago or so. Really liked it overall except for the loud annoying beeping that happens when you go out of range and you can't turn off. I've been beeped probably 5000 times. It's been aggravating since day one. Especially bad when you consider the range isn't good on the headset.

I asked Corsair to put out an update to address this issue. Asked them multiple times. A year later and nothing has been done about it. So I'm done. Getting a headset that doesn't want to kill my eardrums.
