LeDoyen
well, to be honest, watercooling the CPU alone does not make too much sense. It does not benefit much from watercooling. Even on custom loop you can hit high temps. Most of the gains you'll see are from watercooling the GPU since those are very easy to cool compared to CPUs. less temp, less power draw, more headroom for boosting. CPU temp is mainly governed by Vcore more than what cooler is attached. Doesn't answer the question, but.. maybe a little bit 🙂
Xarl
yes I know... but I dont do it just for the cooling.. I do it because its fun and it will look good but I think I will do the gpu too. but if anyone know it would be great ! thx
c-attack
Max length for the gpu should be listed in the case specs. The front fans are included in the measurement, but a front radiator is not. Subtract 30mm, 54mm or whatever thickness might be planned for that spot. The XD5 is 83mm wide. However, as mentioned above you really should consider going in for the 4080 water block. It brings the highest gain to the system and eliminates your largest source of case heat and fan noise. It also eliminates issues with the original question since nearly all of these 4080/90 cards have the short PCB for water cooling. No more absurd 345mm water blocks for those super AIB GPUs like on the 3000 series.
