PeterW_R
Hello everyone,I have 2x32GB Corsair Vengeance AMD optimized modules setup in DIMM_A1 and DIMM_A2 (the ones closest to the CPU) of my ASUS X670-E-E motherboard running the latest BIOS. But I'm having trouble setting them up, when everything is configured in auto CPU-Z shows a DRAM frequency of 1800Mhz but when I try to use the XMP (EXPO) profiles it causes the board to boot in safe mode, I think I did put the correct voltage by setting DIMM VDD adjust to 1.25V, but the board won't boot this way.Am I doing something wrong? It's been 7 years since I mounted my last PC and I'm a bit lost on the ASUS BIOS settings, would very much appreciate some help here.
PeterW_R
For the record, I solved the problem you have to use A2 and B2 DIMM slots, not A1 and A2.
PeterW_R
I thought this would be the end of my problems but recently I've activated Expo I profiles on my motherboard and my Asus X670-E-E runs junst fine in 5200Mhz 40-40-77 as it's supposed to, however, twice a week the board takes two extra minutes to POST and I see code 15 in the leds. After booting I'm required to go into BIOS again and enter all settings from scrach, I'm asuming the board boots under safe mode but I don't understand why. I have the latest bios and code 15 in the manual indicates a memory issue with my Corsair Vengeance 64GB (2x32GB), but I've thoroughly tested them with prime 95 and gaming using Cyberpunk, everything seems fine.Any thoughts on what to do? I'm trying vumping RAM voltages from 1.25V to 1.28V.
PeterW_R
1.28V did not work, trying 1.295V now
PeterW_R
Amazing how no one is helping with this, what kind of customer support does Corsair have? I've just tried updating tot he latest X670-e-e Bios (v925) but can't get past 4800Mhz, I paid for 5200 Mhz not 4800 Mhz.
