H150i ELITE CAPELLIX not showing up in iCUE after failed firmware update to version 2.11.221

Recommended Posts

I currently am running an up to date version of iCUE (4.31), I attempted a firmware update of the H150i resulting in a failure and it being absent from iCUE.

The device still powers on and works, CPU temps are fine. It's just stuck in the stock rainbow RGB. After reinstalling iCUE and rebooting a few times I decided to check the device section on Windows 11.

After identifying the Driver error I attempted  Windows Restore from a point previous in the day without luck.

Already Attempted:

  • Rebooting
  • Windows Restore
  • Repairing iCUE
  • Reinstalling iCUE
  • Using a previous version of iCUE (3.34)
  • Removing the device from Device Manager

I am pretty stumped and unsure what to do. If anybody knows how to fix this or manually update the firmware to a more stable version please let me know.

I'm having similar issues, Im getting the red flashing on all components that are attached to the Commander coreand no discovery in icue. Ive tried all the fixes suggested on corsair's website. If i disconnect the cable from the pump to the ComCore, my fans will begin theyre default rainbow profile, but when I plug in the pump to the core, it begins flashing red and isnt discoverable in icue. Ive tried different headers, and different sata. If i leave the cable HALF way plugged into the comcore, everything attached to the commander core (including the pump) go into default rainbow, but My CPU temps just keep rising until it kicks off the system. If its plugged in ALL the way, then all components on the ComCore will enter alarm mode(flashing red) but my cpu temp stays right around 90F rather than raising and kicking off the system. I am at a total loss of how to proceed.

Please help! Thanks!

Exact same issue with same cooler model. Just no rgb for cooler/connected fans when Icue 4 is on and it is working when the software is off going off previous hardware lighting. I updated to Icue 4.31 from 3.4 yesterday. The pump and fans are working as well as noticeable in Icue 4 but no actual rgb control. It just implies that the rgb is working in the software for the pump/fans. Tried everything reinstalling. And yes I have gigabyte rgb fusion but it is off when I did any changes.

Are there any updates on this topic? Facing same issue. So far my experience with ICUE updates is terrible. Each update makes something to fail.

Updated and suddenly H150i ELITE LCD is gone...

After restarting whole ICUE same notification about update pops out and temporarily H150i ELITE is back.

Similar problem. If I attempt a firmware update on LCD CAPELLIX,  ICUE loses contact with all devices.

I  have a Commander Core XT, a Capellix LCD cooler, and 8 QL fans. Everything was fine until in ICUE a popup said I needed to update the firmware on my LCD cooler. The Commander Core XT, the 8 fans and the Capellix LCD cooler all were displayed in ICUE. As soon as I clicked on update the firmware, it seemed to update, but then the screen froze. When I ended the program and restarted the PC, nothing was displayed in ICUE except my Corsair keyboard. So shut the computer down, unplug the CCXT hubs, reseat the LCD cooler and everything displayed again. So guess I can't update the LCD's firmware....What gives with the Corsair software updates??

  • 1 month later...

I just came back to home from longer weekend. Got update of iCUE Software to v. 4.33.138 and H150i ELITE LCD to v. 2.11.221

I literally hate it. AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN, every Corsair update it's a failure.
The only thing recognizable right now is LCD screen on my CPU cooling (cool finally working) BUT everything else is not recognizable.

Like seriously? I have whole iCUE 7000X case from Corsair, with RGB fans from CORSAIR with Commander Pro XT from damn CORSAIR but happily, it doesn't even working now thanks to so amazing and "double checked" updates.
When I will be building my next PC, I will not choose Corsair ever again.
