Corsair M55 RGB Pro mouse, right side mouse buttons not working

Hello,

I recently bought the M55 RGB Pro but i can't seem to program the buttons on the right side using the redesigned corsair icue software. i've already enabled "enable all side buttons" via icue mouse settings, but i think i need to assign some key to it. i tried to set a macro which was the previous solution but it did not work or i didn't do it correctly.

any game i play, does not pick up the input from either of the side buttons when i click them to assign as a keybind.

any help is appreciated, thanks
