iCue Elite LCD Upgrade Kit not working

Recommended Posts

I recently installed the LCD upgrade kit to my H150i Elite Cappelix AIO. I followed the instructions for install but it is not working. When I boot the system I do get the Corsair boot up sequence on the LCD screen but a few seconds later it turns to an orange triangle with an exclamation point in the middle. I've tried plugging the USB into multiple USB ports directly onto the motherboard as well as used the y-splitter that comes with the unit. Additionally, all software is up-to-date. I did follow the Corsair instructions while troubl-shooting and uninstalled iCue,  including the registry files and then did a fresh install.

I found an interesting quirk today. When I do cntrl alt delete and and then select LOCK, the orange triangle goes away and it shows "Liquied Temp" with a 0 in the middle.

I am at a loss. Does this sound like a hardware or software issue?

If it matters, the system specs are below:

  • Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow
  • Motherboard: Asus Z690 Strix Wifi Gaming D4
  • CPU: Intel i7 13700K running stock
  • GPU: Galax GTX 1060 6GB
  • Memory: 32 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 3600 running at 3600
  • AIO: Top mounted Corsair Elite Cappelix H150i 360mm running 3 120 mm LL fans in an exhaust configuration

Hi I'm also having this issue, I have the newest ICUE 4  software as described and I've uninstalled and reinstalled ICUE. All AIO fans are turning but I'm getting the orange triangle and zero pump RPMs on my Aida64 software. I'm affraid as I've gotten a message from my bios saying I may have a overheating issue but I've not had a shutdown. My AIO worked fine before installing the LCD upgrade kit.

I’m having the same troubles. I’ve tried literally everything all the forums say. Every possible combination to no avail. I get the Corsair LCD startup splash screen when booting up but as soon as it posts I get the triangle. Also, when i close or uninstall iCUE I get the default animation to appear on the LCD. This tells me it has to be a software issue. Any information regarding this particular scenario would be amazing as I am truly disappointed in this product since I’ve spent a good chunk of 8 hours trying to fix it. I just got it yesterday as an upgrade kit and was working fine for the first 3 hours. Then all of a sudden I get the triangle and here we are.

Corsair in sending me a new commander core to see if that is causing the issue. I'll report back once I get the new one installed.
