aureumchaos
HI All, So i have H150i Elite LCD. After and update of ICUE and firmware last month (now it says it is latest) my coolant sensor randomly freezing and do not showing correct temp. When i go into ICUE i can see all other sensors like form FANS are working fine but coolant temp is flat line in ex. 37C... Worst thing is that FANS also runs this temp and do not start spinning faster until i close ICUE ans restart it than temp is showing correct and FANS start to spin according to curve. It is happening randomly, sometimes just after i turned on PC, sometimes during gameplay. Worst is start up as when playing i notice that LCD shows 22C on coolant but in reality it was 47 but fans did not start as they read also the 22... I was trying reinstalling the ICUE but it not solve the issue π Any ideas what to do?
Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted December 21, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 21, 2022 Do you happen to be running other hardware monitoring software such as HWInfo64, HWMonitor, AIDA64, etc... ?
aureumchaos
Thx for the replay... Yes, i found that in HWinfo64 corsairlink need to be unchecked, it was checked and i'm testing now if that was the issue... However it was like that before update and sensor was working fine... Anyway i really hope that was the issue as wrong coolant temp make wrong fan speed πΒ It maybe should be implemented something in ICUE to notify user that sensor stuck or something as CPU can got very hot...Β
Solution c-attack Posted December 22, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 22, 2022 (edited) If you are going to run HWinfo simultaneously you need to disable monitoring for any internal CUE device β fan controllers (Commander Core), βiβ PSU units, AIO. This can be done by right clicking the device group in HWinfo and selecting disable. Freezing or loss of UI functionality are common consequences.Β Edited December 22, 2022 by c-attack
