Mars5124
I got these headphones thinking it was normal headphones, but apparently the box didn't say if it worked with Chromebook, it didn't say anything about it except a Collaboration when I searched it up on google. The headphones I got says that it is a Void Elite Stereo, It doesn't say anything else that would help me on my question except a code thing that could be useful, the code says 48-012390 AA. There's another code, but I don't think it is useful to say it in here. Edited December 15, 2022 by Mars5124 More information
Corsair Employees Corsair Mikimbin Posted December 15, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 15, 2022 Hey there! If it's the Void Elite Stereo, it uses 3.5mm for the connection. If your Chromebook has two separate 3.5mm ports for the headphone and microphone, the splitter that's included with the headset will come in handy. Mars5124
Thanks for the help. But my Chromebook doesn't have two ports, it has one. When I plugged the headphones in, the people's voices in videos, they don't emit as much sound as a normal headphone would, so I mainly only hear the music that's being played, so is there a way to change that? Also, iCUE isn't supported on chrome OS because when I download it I can't run the file because the file is supposed to be used on windows. So is there a way to make voices sound louder whilst not having iCUE?
Mars5124
Also, whenever I turn up the volume so I can hear the voices, the audio sounds wave-like. I enjoy wearing the headphones because of the comfort though.

Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted December 23, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 23, 2022 Do the audio issues persist on a Windows based system? If not then the issue is going to be related either to the hardware of your Chromebook or ChromeOS itself. Also iCUE is not supported for use on ChromeOS. Also the Void Elite Stereo headset also will not display in iCUE as it is an analog headset. All volume control for analog stereo headsets are handled by the physical device you are plugging the headset into, and the audio drivers for that device. Mars5124
The Void Elite Stereo also turns on YouTube videos or videos on sites that aren't currently being viewed by me. I'm not sure if this is the Void Elite Stereo, but it automatically changes the audio sometimes. Mars5124
Fixed it by myself, thanks for the information about my headphones. The problem was that the headphones would make the sound loud and the voices low, the solution was, to turn the audio down since the audio thing only controlled the music, not the voices. Edit: Was wrong, but I think I can deal with it. Edited January 6 by Mars5124
