Dreadnaught503
After updating to Icue 4.30.162 i've noticed the software keeps deleting Dashboard widgets that i have set up. I'll set up the Dashboard widgets again and a few days later when i turn on my pc and open Icue the Dashboard tab is empty.
Dreadnaught503
Also the 7th core for my Intel i7 9800x is displaying a 9th core instead of a 7th core on the Dashboard.
Solution c-attack Posted December 16, 2022 Solution Share Posted December 16, 2022 Unfortunately these are common issues. The dashboard wipe out has become more prevalent again the last few releases and the core numbering affects all Intel CPUs. Depending on cpu model, it will skip a specific number in counting. Also be aware the Core enumeration is not likely to match another program on a core to core basis. Core 2 in HWinfo will not be the same as Core 2 temp in CUE. Close iCUE 2. Open it again, as administrator. 3. Fill the dashboard with your desired sensors, in the order you want. 4. Close iCUE. 5. Open it again, in normal mode. It might save the dashboard. Some sensors might be missing though, so I suggest repeating the process. It's nice to see that WE, the users, have to figure this stuff out and corsair won't fix the bugs, yet they add unnecessary stuff like Murals. MikeRoGé
I had, also experienced this and solved. And also had some performance issue which was caused by GeForce Expierence. So, I decided to completely uninstall NVIDIA GeForce Expierence from my system and since then the dashboard widgets no longer disappear plus my system got huge performance boost. If you have a NVIDIA GPU and GeForce Expierence is installed on your PC, uninstall GFE and see if your dashboard widgets remain.

Why would you have to uninstall a program to use another? It's true that GFE messes up iCUE, to the point where profile changing is no longer possible, if you have in-game overlay active in GFE. But that is something corsair should fix, we should not have to find workarounds for these issues. What's next, "you can only have iCUE and no other sowftare, on a clean windows install for it to work"? Nah man, that's not the solution.

What's next, "you can only have iCUE and no other sowftare, on a clean windows install for it to work"? Nah man, that's not the solution. To be clear; I uninstalled GFE because GFE was causing performance issues due to this tool 'OpenAutomate wrapper'. This caused lagging, stuttering, frame drops, high CPU load, memory leak. Because I had uninstalled GFE I found out, by accident, that ICEU did not lose its widgets after few days. And I just use an ingame overlay from MSI AB + RTSS. Even Windows GameBar leaves ICEU alone. Oh, I see, that sounds a bit different than what I initially read. I normally use GFE for the soul purpose of being notified when a new version of Studio Drivers is released. I used to record with it, but the files were often corrupted and the audio was pure garbage. So yeah, uninstalling it does more good than harm. After all, the drivers are what matters.
