Konabuy
Hey everyone, I recently built a new pc. I bought the 7000x case that comes with the Commander XT and fans. 3 of the fans spin at normal speeds and are controllable. Fan #1 is constantly spinning at 1200+ rpm and will not respond to the different modes or custom curves. The rpm graph for it is super rough, constant erratic jumps. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. I noticed that it also takes a good bit of force to put it back in the pins, the other ones plug in very smoothly. LeDoyen
what fan model is it? the commander XT is a purely PWM controller. it will not control 3 pin fans. These will always run at full speed.

It controls the other 3 fans as they should be
c-attack
The graphs in CUE always tend to look a bit rough, especially if it is responding to CPU temperature. Besides the dynamic source, the graph scale constantly resizes making things look even more dramatic. The Commander XT should be able to control the front RGB fans. The problem is likely the default Quiet/Balanced/Extreme presets. Try creating a custom curve and giving it a more stable sensor/control variable. Motherboard temp is a decent one if you don't have a Corsair AIO in the case for water temp. Even just a fixed speed will demonstrate the fan is controllable and it only needs a different fan profile.
