CodyG
Hello! Just built a pc about 3 months ago; gigabyte pro ax x570s, 3080ti, 5800x, vengeance rt 16x2 3600 The PC has been working great, but yesterday I put the computer to sleep, then realized I forgot to leave a discord call so I turned the pc back on without letting it fully turn off and now one of my ram sticks stopped working. I pulled the one out and it boots just fine on one stick. I tried changing which sockets I used and found that only one stick of ram works. When I have the bad ram stick in the mobo just shows the ram error light and won’t boot the pc. Any ideas? Do I have to go buy new ram?
c-attack
Contact Corsair Support through the link at the bottom of the page. If the PC won't boot with that one stick installed and/or it kicks errors on default settings, that suggests an issue. The one thing to watch out for is the problem is the slot not the module. You can likely prove that false with the working module.
