RTX 4080 and RM850x (2021) PSU

Hi,

This makes sense? I'm building my PC and in the last minute I bought a RTX 4080 (never is a good time to build a computer...), And waiting fo may RMx PSU,  seeing the Corsair's adapter pictures, and, because the RM850x only have 2 PCIe cables, but 3 connectors, I suppose this setup is logical...

Anybody is connecting a RTX 4080 in the same way?

Thanks in advance

You should not be utilizing the Pigtail connectors. Each connection on the adapter needs to be a completely separate PCIe cable from the PSU. If you utilize the pigtail connection you risk damaging the power supply, and GPU. Any damage that occurs due to improperly being installed is not covered by any warranty as it is user-error.

Well... The thing is, my only option is buy a spare cable through Amazon... I'm not in the US of A... And in the Corsair's official store on Amazon is not available at the moment... Weird. I bought a single PCIe cable from Corsair anyway (and a Commander Core...), I don't trust I the local vendors when it comes to connect a generic cable into a expensive graphics card. Thanks anyway.
