Ginger_bread91
I had had my Schimitar for a little over 2 years now with now issues at all....untill the icue update before this last one. Icue now stops responding and shuts down randomly. but this isnt new. but now my schimitar is showing Alert Triggered and i have no customization controls for my mouse. cant change anything at all. im hoping its just a software flook...and not a company trying to kill off older products so people buy new ones. Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted December 12, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 12, 2022 Are you plugging the mouse directly into a USB port on the back of your motherboard? Or are you plugging it into some sort of USB hub/switch/etc... ? Does the mouse itself continue to function like a normal mouse?
Ginger_bread91
I have tried my USB 3.0 ports and other USB ports on my motherboard and also tried the ports ontop of my computer. all seem to be giving me the same Alert Triggered in Icue. It only started after the update before this one. and tried redownloading ICUE.That fixed the ICUE crashing issue but still no customizing for my mouse. 😞 should i try the USB on my Keyboard? i have the K70 RGB MK.2 On 12/12/2022 at 5:59 PM, Corsair Notepad said: Are you plugging the mouse directly into a USB port on the back of your motherboard? Corsair Employees Corsair Notepad Posted December 28, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 28, 2022 It is likely some sort of actual firmware or hardware failure and unrelated to iCUE completely. I would recommend you reach out to our support team by opening a ticket at https://help.corsair.com. They will at least be able to provide you a way to manually reinstall the firmware and hopefully fixing the issue if it is firmware related.
