SEwing1243
In the latest update to the iCUE software (4.31.168) the default Dashboard Images are missing. Are they still located in the App's folders somewhere (so they can be added back) or are they just deleted (and was that on purpose)? c-attack
The Dashboard is the sensor data from various hardware elements. It must be added with the + and has a tendency to disappear and must then be re-added again. The Home screen has your CUE devices with label and picture and serves as the way to access each. If you are missing a device, it is not communicating with the software. If you are missing just the image but the label and box is there, you probably have a bad install and should try the repair function (modify) in the Windows Apps list. Can you post a screenshot to clarify?
SEwing1243
In the picture below the circled box contained a number of images of which one could be selected and that would become the background of the Dashboard page. As you can see those images have disappeared with the latest update. They were there before the update. Other images can be added so I know that "feature" still functions. c-attack
C:Users/(name)/App Data (hidden)/Roaming/Corsair/CUE4/assets/background_images On a clean install these disappear and that is how I started on CUE 4.31, so I don't know if this was a necessary part of the update or not. However, you likely can add these back faster manually then trying to pull them out of there. If the image is there, it should show when you hit the plus. All profile icons, profile backgrounds, and desktop backgrounds should be in that folder.
SEwing1243
"C:Users/(name)/App Data (hidden)/Roaming/Corsair/CUE4/assets/background_images" There is nothing in that folder (nor in the previous version zip files apparently created by each update in the CUE folder, mine go back to ver 4.24.193). If I add an image then they do appear in that folder. Edited December 11, 2022 by SEwing1243
