iCUE Override Text Character Limit?

It’s been a *really* long time since I last did anything with iCUE profiles, so I hope you’ll bear with me.  I’m trying to edit a key assignment text field but it seems there’s a character limit.  It’s hard to explain why but I need whatever character limit that’s there to be maybe 3 times as long (is the base 250 characters?).  The irritating thing is that prior to the later versions of iCUE, I was able to fit in these really long text blocks.  Is there any kind of workaround for this?  Thanks in advance to anyone that can help, home I’m in the right forum.
