BoShek
As per my title I updated iCUE to v. 4.30.162 it switched over to the new UI and it no longer allows me to set fan speeds, they are permanently stuck in quiet mode. I have everything installed per the instructions and it used to work before I updated iCUE. I'm pretty sure the fans are being detected because it is allowing me to change the RGB on them through my Lighting Node Pro. H150i Pro is running version v. 1.0.4.
BoShek
Update Rolling back to v3 iCue fixed the problem. So it has something to do with iCUE 4 which I thought they fixed. The UI for fan speed control does not work the same way in CUE 4. In cue 3 you assign each fan a profile using a drop down menu at the fan box. In CUE 4 you change this down below from the fan profile. There is no drop menu and there have been no other complaints about this from Pro owners. It’s possible there was some type of error updating from a two year old version of CUE 3 and your profiles were not converted appropriately. At this point I would recommend most users export any valuable CUE 3 profiles before uninstalling CUE 3 and clean installing CUE 4. A lot of things have changed, but you can import cue 3 save profiles and I do so regularly.
SailorMoonR
Hello BoShek, I had the same problem, so let me help you and provide a solution. iCue is a buggy mess, you have to upgrade from 3.x to newest 4.x, then restart your pc. After restart uninstall 4.x, but very important, tick on bouth checkboxes to remove all saved settings and profiles, then restart your pc. After restart install newest 4.x again, and now you should be able to change fanspeeds again. The problem are the old settings and the best part is, that the checkboxes to remove old settings with uninstallation were not present in the earlies 4.x versions, so you could not fix this bug by yourself. When the bug is present, you can set a preset to fans after update from 3.x to 4.x, but if you open fansettings again to check them, no preset is set. Even the corsairsupport could not help me with my problem, it is embressing the the users have to be the beta tester. I dont think I will buy a corsairprodcut that requieres iCue to work again.
