HS75 XB mic **** it’s pants

I’m on a Series S using the HS75 XB headset, when I suddenly get a low white noise in the background. My microphone is fine, but it’s annoying so I reset my headset. Next thing I know, my microphone will only detect anything if I’m blowing into the mic, which has since then became a gamble in the way that even that might not work. I know the deplete the battery strategy, but that took about 3 days the last time I had to do it so I’d prefer if that’s a last resort. I’m sorry I sound so pissy, but I’d just rather be in bed and I spent $150 dollars on the headset. I’d really appreciate some help. Thanks everyone.
