Forum Chaos: Where can I post Memory questions?

Hi,

coming from the old nice forum I cannot grasp what happened to the old well organized forum. Who created this old-hipster-style mess with ugly washed out colors and why at all?

So where is the memory department now?

well.. that's corsair colors.. 

The no edit after a few minutes is to prevent spam. It's a pain but oh well. 

 

There's all sections in double. one for product discussions, one for troubleshooting. In practice it's all troubleshooting, but in two places instead of one so the layout is pretty much a mess and could be cut in half ^^'

What are you defining as a "old-hipster-style" mess? What part of the UI? Are you looking at light mode or dark mode? Which one looks "washed out" ?

"Why at all" - Is this referring to the look, the function, the layout - all of the above?

5 min limit. Too many spammers were taking advantage and slipping in stuff.

Please do not feel personally offended. 

This is a subjective  feedback already. 

The whole structure UI, heaps of buttons, disguised buttons is confusing and cluttered. 

And yes the washed colors are the same as MS Windows 10.  Colors that are hurting. 

Just close your eyes and imagine the old forum. Now open your eyes and watch the new style. I think it's self-evident.

Edit: 

This one for everything globalistic approach is causing disorder.

And most important: it's not fun at all. You might get less spam because of the limited edit period. May be you'll get less or no posts in the long run  if that's what was in the creators mind.  

But this is just my personal view.

Ha, i took it and Chrome retained that very same comment i seem to have posted a while ago, about merging the product discussion and the technical support sections 😛

No offense taken. We just need more specific criticism. Like for instance - what buttons do you think are disguised? Which theme are you using that you think the colors are washed? Light mode, dark mode, both?

For some background, we used to be on vBulletin 3.x (which has been end of life for 5 years). Now we're on Invision Community. Completely different software platform with modern features, e.g. it uses the same login system as some of our other sites.

Theme toggle is at the bottom of the page.  You probably want Dark Mode.
