Corsair Employees Corsair Raven Posted December 9, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 9, 2022 Might be worth powering down your system, unplugging it and draining any remaining power from it, then reseat the LCD to the pump, and the cable that is going from the Pump to the Commander Core. If you are still having issue after that, go ahead and contact our support team by opening a ticket at https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so our support team can look into this further for you. It's the firmware. I already got my LCD rma'd. The replacement was refurbished but it works. I will not upgrade the firmware again until the next update in 2023. Morgan1607
I'm just recently having the same issue, Happened this morning when i woke up. Icue crashed. Upon restarting it the LCD started flickering and having stuttering issues. Tried everything that people have recommended and there was no fix. it got to a point that i was getting disappointed seeing it I just turned the brightness down so its now Black until Corsair figures out how to fix the firmware.. its Sad to see hardware that's $145 (after taxes) work like this coming from such a trusted company

Big Apple_3AM
+1 I am having the exact same issue. I upgraded the LCD screen / Pump Display to v2.0.0.3 and was fine until a day later. Now, my LCD screen is doing the exact same flickering and infinite scroll. Tried restarting, powering down then up, shutting off the PSU power then powering back up, restarting iCue, reinstalling iCue, etc. However, none of those steps worked. It has to be a firmware issue because even after turning off the PSU to power cycle and then turning it back on, the red triangle that comes up before boot on the screen even flickers like crazy. I hope Corsair puts out an update quickly or let's us revert back to the previous firmware (which was pretty stable). It's tough having such a cool feature go awry in an expensive build...
AlexDrach
Slightly different model but similiar issue after recent update. I have the H150I Elite Capellix. Pumps and fans are spinning but no rgb. I upgraded from 3.4 to 4.3 yesterday so my new corsair headset can be registered. Made sure my gigabyte auroa rgbfusion bloat ware is not interfering and straight up off. What is weird it says I still have control in the software still rgb, when I turn off the software my hardware lighting from previous takes over with everything lit up correctly. I am worried to do renders because I do not have full control over my software running my pump keeping the cpu cool. Everything else in the icue 4 is functioning but the pump and fan rgb connecting to it.
Morgan1607
So Update on Situation after installing new Hard drive. During Installation I needed to remove GPU and decided to unplug the LCD Screen from the dock in the process. I Purged the power button and continued with my installation. After finishing and re-docking the GPU I reconnected the LCD screen and started up PC, Curious to try the LCD screen i turned the brightness back up, and to my Surprise, no more flickering or broken screen. I hope this brings light to anybody trying to fix thier iCue LCD Screen
Volkaru
Also having this issue for a few weeks now. Tried unplugging the display, forcing a firmware update, restarting iCue, etc. Nothing seems to work.
GibsonXXI
I very much doubt this is fixable via software / firmware. The flickering on my H100i Cappelix LCD stops after about 2 & a half minutes of iCUE starting, but i've seen behaviour like this before in other hardware. It looks to be that once the cooler has 'warmed up', at least for me, the problem goes away. Reboot from an OK LCD state, and again, no issue. Power on the PC after a period of having been switched off (i.e: cooled down), and it flickers on boot-up every time. Looks very much like a dodgy capacitor or something electronic at fault here. If it was firmware / software it would exhibit the issue all the time, not just for a few minutes at a cold boot. The fact people are seeing this issue shortly after a firmware update is simply coincidence in my opinion. It 'may' be the case bad settings in the firmware, have overloaded something electronically, and caused the fault, but I doubt very much that another update will cure the problem. I may be proven wrong in this regard, but I'm not all that hopeful. Mine has only been in active use since November / December of last year. Given the myriad of RGB issues on Corsair's previous generation of AIO's [Which my previous AIO also suffered from], I'm not holding out much hope for this being fixed with just a software / firmware update. I can't afford to RMA the entire cooler. I need this system up and running on a daily basis. Corsair need to stop 'cheaping out' on the quality of their electronics in order to make a larger profit margin. It's not like these things are cheap to buy to begin with, so for it to start failing after only 5 months of use is pretty shambolic in my opinion. BlackShore
@dejffcz I have the same problem and the update did not do anything. I tried powering it off, unplugging everything, putting it back together, restart, turn off for hours, etc. Nothing helped yet.

Corsair said it had an update available, so I downloaded is issue seems to be fixed. Now I have not shut down system and restarted it to see if it happens again. ICUE SOFTWARE CORE is 5.6.96 everything else that is running under it shows 5.6.

Update: H150i ELITE LCD - FIXED 1/ I went into ICUE looked up the 'H150i ELITE LCD' tab (the picture of your LCD display under the iCUE software screen) 2/ Scrolled down to the bottom left list 'Device settings' 3/ You'll see two listings: H150i ELITE LCD firmware V2.0.19 & LCD screen firmware V 2.0.0.3 (these were my current firmware versions) 4/ pressed the 'Check for updates, tab and move mouse to the three vertical dots displayed below and select 'forced update' on the firmware first (no change) then repeated a 'force update' on the LCD screen firmware update (It has now returned to normal for me) I hope this helps others & good luck
Beaumont781
Same issue here. The bottom 1/3 is flickering. I tried: update, force update, unplug everything. Not helped. Uninstall, install done. Everything what I found in the google. Any other idea? Thank you.
