iCUE disabled when switching user accounts

When I boot up my PC (i.e. user 1), iCUE loads and recognises my K70 keyboard without any issues. If I then switch user (i.e. user 2) on windows, iCUE stops working and the RGB backlighting switches off. If I switch back to user 1, iCUE still doesn't work and the keyboard still isn't recognised. The only way to resolve this issue is to unplug the keyboard from the computer entirely and plug it back in, or restart the PC. At first, I thought this was tied to one specific user account, but then I noticed it's tied to whatever user account the computer first boots into. I'm using the latest version of iCUE and for the K70 keyboard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
