corsair rx750 fan

hello, i have a corsair tx750 power supply which is now several years old and has been working fine apart from very loud fan noise for the past few days. This power supply is mounted in a fractal design define box; the power supply fan is therefore directed downwards. the reference is nr12l but I can't find it on the net. What to replace it with. is it a 2 pin fan? Thanks for your advices.

While waiting for the info, you could spin your PSU to install it with the fan facing up inside the case, as long as the PSU shroud is vented. This will prevent heat rising towards the PSU components and will make the fan spin less often.

Often, the case fans will be enough to cool the PSU actually. That's worth a shot.

Hi there. For the past few days, the power supply fan has been making noise when it is on top. the noise is not constant. does the tm750 power supply operate the fan depending on the heat of the power supply or does it run constantly?

so I will change it. I need a fan with 2 pins but I can only find 3 or 4 pin fans. can i use these fans and what modifications i need to make. thanks for your advice.

AFAIK, all PSUs have thermal regulation with the fran. they start it only when needed.

Usually the fan curve is shown in the PSU manual

hello. my power supply is a few years old now. I no longer have the documentation. I'm waiting for the new nr120l fan because the one I've been making noise more and more often. I have a noctua but I didn't want to use it because it has 3 pins and I didn't want to do any adaptation. thank you .
