Hello all! I’m looking for assistance here as I tried to call the technical support line and always hear its closed and call back on their normal business hours which is during the time I called. I keep getting the exclamation point error and since the fans are not running I know get an error from my motherboard stating that the CPU is overheating and it shuts down within 3 minutes. Please help or I’m going to have to return this product back to Amazon

If the fans are not running and it seems like the pump is not running, then you likely have no power. Check the SATA connector from PSU to Commander Core. Check the wide power connector from Commander Core to pump/block. Make sure the white stripe is lined up. Power to the pump comes through the Commander Core.

Thanks for the prompt response. So I checked from the commander where the white line is lined up. On the bottom of the commander pro where the USB connector is where the SATA power cable is also coming out from is in fact plug in. I even tried using another cable. Results are still the same, I see the display and animation then follow by the exclamation point on the commander. Fans are just not spinning and don’t think the pump is working. All other cables  I have checked as well. Any help is definitely appreciated.

So power gets to the unit (at least temporarily) but the lack of PWM fan movement at power on suggests the Commander Core is faulty.  The (!) is a general warning without specific meaning. There are lots of posts about trying to fix this and most involve device detection. This is something else and motherboard is kicking out a cpu boot error because the pump won’t talk back. Whether the fault is on the Commander Core, the white stripe cable, or the pump, the end result is the same and you need to replace the lot. You’ve checked your end. The problem appears to be hardware based.

If this is a new unit, do the exchange through the vendor. That will be the fastest and I think you need to swap all the pieces anyway. If your vendor is not friendly or it’s already been too long, contact Corsair Support through the ticket system. The pc is going to be unusable in this state so if you have an old AIO or air cooler, put that on.

I’m glad you were able to get it sorted locally.  This can be a real pain when you can trapped without an alternative cooling method.
