There’s not much to go on here. The event viewer 41 error only tells you the PC didn’t properly shut down a moment before. Look for an error right before that.

If there is none, then the logical place to start is the PSU. It’s new and a PSU stability problem won’t leave an error. It will hard shut off and not restart. Common user errors on new PSU installations generally involve mismatching cables from old PSUs or possibly a bad connection causing a safety shutdown.  Check your cables.

Aside from that, start a support ticket with Corsair. There’s not a lot of user side PSU testing options and if there is a problem with it, you will need a replacement.

Hmm… if it has time to tell you it’s shutting down, then the OS initiated it. A PSU fault would simply go bang… and off in an instant.

If this happens again, after you reboot right click on the Windows button and choose the Event Viewer. You’ll have to trace back through the startup sequence to the crash and find the  critical red X. It should be a few lines before the unexpected shutdown red X.

Maybe double check your front panel connexions on the motherboard, and make sure the power button wires are not damaged, like pinched between panels or something similar. an intermittent short circuit there would switch off your PC in that manner.

But that would not cause a Kernel power alarm, that's a proper loss of power. Looks like two different issues

Kernel power : the PC usualy just shuts off. as if you pulled the plug. that could be PSU, or a bad cable, or cables not fuly inserted too (mainly the motherboard one).

Make sure the two connectors for the motherboard cable on the PSU are fully inserted. the small 10 pin one carries the "power OK" signal. if you lose that one due to badly insterted plug, you could have butal shutdowns that would appear as kernel power

just to make sure, you only use cables that came with the HX1500i ?

I bet Corsair support will ask you this one, if it's not already done.
