Dandaman29
My Corsair dark core RGB pro mouse has had problems connecting via bluetooth with my MacBook. It recognises the mouses existence but is never able to connect with it and I'm really unsure what the problem is and if there is anyway to fix it. I was considering getting a usb c to usb a adaptor and using the mouse's usb wireless dongle as another way to connect the mouse to my computer but don't really want to spend the extra money if I don't have to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
YourViking
Hi @Dandaman29, i have the exact same problem - since approx 1/2 months - I´ve been using the mouse for a year now without any issues - it started all of a sudden - resetting the Mouse did not help, nor deleting Profiles in ICUE App - the only variant possible is to connect the mouse via a typeC cable to the MacBook ... 🙂 @Corsair - Highly appreciate any insights on this
cjleo3
Hi all, I managed to use the mouse via bluetooth with my 2021 Macbook Pro, but after updating from Monterey to Ventura, I started after the same issues as above. The mouse had to be reconnected again after the update, which I tried to do so but the Macbook would recognise the mouse but still can't connect to it. The mouse can still be connected via bluetooth to my work laptop, so it seems like an operating system issue? I've also tried to pair my wireless earphones and keyboard to the laptop with the updated OS, and they connected without any issues. Hope Corsair is able to provide a solution to the bluetooth pairing issue.

Richt
Argh this is so annoying. I've tried a zillion different ways to do this. I have a Corsair Dark Core Pro SE which works just fine, but the Dark Core Pro doesn't work. Here are what I've tried: 1. HOld the side buttons (that are called mysterious forward and back) down while you turn it on. Then you get a solid white light on the top status light between the scroll wheel and the top "profile" button. I presume this is a reset 2. Then turn it off and power it on while holding the top "profile" button and you get a fast blinking blue light. 3. Then you see the DARK CORE RGB PRO in the Bluetooth list but when you select it 4. The waiting thing dials and in the log you can see the message and you can see in the Console First y9ou see "Device Found.... Nm "DARK CORE RGB PRO" 5. Then 30 seconds later you see the messages from bluetoothd "Device Lost... nm "DARK CORE RGB PRO" So I'm wondering if a firmware update is needed? Aeiouy1986
I too have the same problem. I have an m1 MacBook Pro, and I just updated to Ventura. The mouse was working fine via bluetooth until today after the update. It wasn't recognized, so I removed it from bluetooth and went through the same process as everyone else: resetting, attempting pairing, reboot my machine, etc. etc. Corsair, what is the fix for this? Andrey Dramma
Exactly the same problem, updated to mac os 14. beta, the problem did not go away. Where can I tell the firmware for the mouse to try to force it to update? Will this solve the problem?
timbergus
I have a similar problem with a brand new Scimitar Elite RGB wireless. Using the cable or USB dongle works excellently, and iCUE recognizes it without any problem, but using the Bluetooth connection is a mess. iCUE ignores the mouse, and the system adds scroll bars to every window. When playing Minecraft, I have a double cursor, and when I click in-game, the mouse cursor clicks outside, and the game breaks. I have already written to the technical service, but it's been three or four days, and I have no answer. I'm afraid that if I don't have a response from Corsair in the next few days, I will return the mouse to Amazon. It's a pity because the mouse is incredible. Still, I already have a similar experience with Razer removing the support of its app for Mac, and I don't want another mouse I cannot use collecting dust on the shelf.
