Corsair h115i rgb pro XT fan error and high temp

Recommended Posts

Hey. I bought a h115i cooler and it was kinda funky right away.

I think i pluged everything right and dobble checkt everything. I have a am4 motherboard with ryzen cpu. Installment was easy and good. Everything is tight and i plug the single connector on my cpu fan and the rest is easy.

When everything was done. I got cpu fan in the bios but i head the fan and pump working.  In iccu software there was contakt and all fans is set on extreem. In normal use of the computer the temp was around 30-40 celsius, but after two days there was a update in software for the pump. I install it and that was the worst thing ever. The cpu fan error was still there. All fans on extreem and stil the temp rises to 80 in bios. How is this possible? Is brand new , 3 days old. Have checkt and tryed aio pump connector but same problem. Is there a solotion or do i have to send this crap back to corsair?20221130_220522.thumb.jpg.a848f242970108a9016e2968831da643.jpg

Make sure you are plugging the 3pin tach cable from the pump into the CPU Fan header on your motherboard.

The 3pin cable with one wire is plugd in the cpu fan. Other fan is driven with the pump and sata cable.  But the coolant temp is low. But it do not cool the cpu of any kind. Temp on cpu rises fast in normal use.  I can heard pump working but do not cool at any form.

If it is connected to the header and you are receiving that error then the pump itself has most likely failed and you will need to reach out to our support team directly by opening a ticket at https://help.corsair.com
