BlaiseP Posted November 30, 2022 Share Posted November 30, 2022 @Guitarsrusinc - been happening for a few versions (ICUE reports my 12900k exactly as yours and my 9900K goes up to core 9 skipping core 7). At one stage it was stated it was probably a problem with the CPUID SDK version but I'm starting to doubt that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
c-attack Posted December 1, 2022 Share Posted December 1, 2022 Yeah, it’s some type of core enumeration issue. Still 16 cores, just labeled incorrectly. It affects all Intel CPUs. Even before the more obvious number skipping, the specific core numbers did not match the same number reported by other programs.
