f14iceman
I have two CMX512-3200C2 sticks of Corsair RAM in my system. I've been experiencing problems with my system since day one. The original stick is labeled as version XMS3202v3.1 The second stick, which I added last month, is labeled as version XMS3202v5.1 During a previous call to Corsair Tech Support, the engineer had me change some of the BIOS settings on my Abit VI7 motherboard. Still the problem has persisted. Yesterday, Windows reported an error that had me download Microsoft's "Windows Memory Diagnostic" tool. I made a bootable CD and left the system running. Today there are numerous errors being reported: Test: Cache: Address: Expected: Actual: ERAND On 3d559140 ca1c1bc7 ca1c1bd7 LRAND On 2bde54c0 be315f46 be315f56 LRAND On 25e57900 3acc17c7 3acc17d7 ERAND On 1b65a180 1d1e1b37 1d1e1b77 Today I am going to try the Memtest tool you recommend. Based on what you see above, do I need to have these modules replaced?
