GPU core does not touch water block Corsair hydro XG7 RGB

Hi,

Its my first post so wanted to say hello to everyone. Hope you are having great weekend!

I have a question about my new corsair hydro xg7 for reference card. I used my Zotac trinity OC RTX 3080Ti for the block. However after I dissasabled the block (I noticed the rgb wires were wronglu pull through by me)  the preinstalled thermalpaste on the block was not visible on GPU core at all. Thermopads have signs of touching memories but not the core. Do you know what would be the solution? It will touch after it gets hotter and thermopad will deform or I need to add thermalpaste on the core?

I tightened up all screws to max so no mistake there.
