FlyingMachineGun
Hello, I need a little help.. As you can see ICUE is not showing the correct CPU usage. Its always under 10% While on Task Manger or HWINFO the percentages are alot higher.. Any fixes for that?
Dung3onK33p3r
I have the same problem: Infos: Win11 22H2, iCUE 4.30.162, i7 12700K
c-attack
There are a couple of threads mentioning this and it seems clear this is not limited to CUE. I don’t know if something changed in Windows or some of the common SDKs used to get the data (or both), but most of my programs are not properly reading CPU load. It was mildly amusing to run the AC Valhalla in game benchmark and watch the CPU load sit on 0% all the way around. Like both of you, I saw this in one form on my 10900K and then the perpetual 0-1% on my 13900K. No clear answer for this yet, but we’re all in the same position. Here is the explanation from MSI afterburner which has a correction out. "CPU usage sensors have been switched to alternate data source to bypass wrong CPU usage reporting on 22H2 due to broken idle times returned by NtQuerySystemInformation(SystemProcessorPerformanceInformation)." Dung3onK33p3r
Any news? Can we expect a fix from corsair or microsoft?
Mondueo
It's a bug with Microsoft. Tons off applications are broken, not just iCue. It has to do with 22h2 build of windows. If you use 21h1 there are no issues. The only thing we can do is let corsair know this and most importantly report the bug to windows. OKkkk
Is there anything we can do to fix it?
c-attack
Not on the user end. Microsoft doesn’t seem to care about the consequences of their choices and it doesn’t seem like there is a truly accurate work around either. Some of the other programmers who write popular monitoring software have commented on this as well and there is still going to be an issue until Windows changes. Mike_L
This is also a problem for myself. Noted I am running 22H2 build 19045. Unfortunate cause iCUE works perfect on my Gigabyte 3060Ti with temp, load and fan speed but not on my 4080 FE on any of the data parameters
HK-47
I got the same issue really annoying. Kind of makes my Nexus CPU load readout pointless.
