Giga-byte motherboard GA-8IG1000 Pro (Rev 2.x) 2.8 512CACHE 800FSB 2 x 256 pc3200 xms corsair fx5800 albatron 128mb 40gig HD + 30gig HD CDRW 48x 500watt power supply i just purchase a CMX256A-3200C2 CORSAIR RAM and it isnt working. I tried it on many computers and it doesnt work. it shuts my computer down into a BLUE screen. PLEASE HELP.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 15, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts (Dim Over Voltage Control +.2 Volts) as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
