Issue - Unpacking brand new i7400

So I just received my i7400 with the RTX 4090.  Exciting.

When I was removing the internal packing, I noticed a sticker over the cover of the CPU cooler.  The sticker said "Remove Sticker" and so I did.  Clearly for packing/shipping only.  But it left residue on the removable cooler cover (see pic) and *also* on the CPU cooler itself.

Not sure who thought this was a good idea, but now what?  I don't want the residue melting and dripping down onto the GPU, for example.  And, the cooler color looks terrible now.
