c-attack
HW Lighting is for when CUE is not running. When you create it in the CUE app -> Hardware Lighting section, the KB will preview what you are doing. However, to actually make it run from the KB memory, you must save it to the KB memory. On most boards this is done in the Device Settings tab on the left side. Save the profile to one of the three HW Save slots.
jimmyjameseal
If you click on the device settings tab is not used for saving any options. (see attached photo of response to selecting Device Settings) If I disable auto start at Boot time, then I get my hardware lighting, but lose my access to Mother board. Solution c-attack Posted November 12, 2022 Solution Share Posted November 12, 2022 (edited) Yes, CUE must use several software implements to manage your motherboard lighting, that is not a Corsair product. Are you trying to set up your gear to run without the software? This always will provide more limited options than when you use the full system resources through CUE.
