Corsair iCUE H115i Elite Capellix- Fans stop spinning when I open ICUE and manual control does not work

Fans/pump work great when I start my computer but as soon as I start the ICUE application, my fans on my radiator will stop spinning. Even after manually switching the fan speed to extreme, they stay stationary. Manually selecting different speeds for the pump works as I can hear it get louder/quieter and I can see the RPM speed change appropriate in the app.  But I have no control over the fan speed, and I can't get them to start up again even after closing down the application. Only a restart of my computer will get them spinning again.
