TCMathews
So I need some thoughts and opinions on this. I am running the DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB CMT64GX5M2B5200C40 with an Intel 12th gen 12900KS. Currently my memory is set to default at 4000Mhz because all the XMP profiles cause corruption on my hard drive and sporadic issues pertaining to the memory. When I adjust my memory down to default again, everything works as designed. Errors go away, no more data corruption on hard drive, no errors, and all is well. So is this a bad set of memory because I have replaced twice now and all seem to have the same issue running XMP. I/II. I have ran mem86 and they all pass the tests. Any help would be great. Corsair Employees Corsair Raven Posted October 27, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 27, 2022 When you ran memtest, did you clear the CMOS prior and test each stick individually?
TCMathews
Yes, each stick was tested at 4000mhz default and individually. I didnt run the tests with XMP active because of the data corruption that occurs when it's active.
