Corsair K100 not detected in macos

I bought a Corsair K100 and it works fine on windows, however, on my mac I am having trouble setting it up correctly. It seems like MacOS is not detecting the layout (German) correctly and I cannot change it in the system settings, when I plug it in the the wizard that is supposed to detect the layout is not popping up and I also do not have the "Change Keyboard Type..." button in the keyboard settings. I have installed iCUE 4.0 and there the keyboard is detected fine, I switched to layout to German in the device settings, however, the layout isnt changing when I type. Specifically the ^ and < keys are reversed. I attach 2 screenshots, one of the system settings which shows how the set layout is and one of iCUE of how my actual keyboard layout is... Any help would be appreciated!
