TETiNXP
Hello. I have this combination...And trying all the bios (1.3, 1.31mod, 1.4, 1.41mod, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 and 1.8mod) and all the configurations (3-4-4-8 for timmings) the all voltages (2.55 to 2.85v) and always the same. Memtest86 with no errors (after 4 hours in test #5), but superpi and prime95 got errors in 1 min! 1º Trying: 250*10 (1:1) 2.5-4-4-8 and 275*9 (1:1) 2.5-4-4-8 same result. (at all voltages) :(: 2º Trying: 250*10 (1:1) 3-4-4-8 and 275*9 (1:1) 3-4-4-8 same result. (at all voltages) :(: 3º Trying: 200*10 (default) (1:1) 2-3-3-8 with same result. :(: The processor its ok, because I try with my XXXXXXXXX DDR400 3-4-4-8 at 200:166 divider 260*10 (ram at 216MHz) with no problem (superpi 32mb and few hours of prime95) MSI K8N Neo 2 Platinum A64 Winchester 3200+ 0450 PSU Thermaltake TotalWatts Viewer (TWV) 480W (PFC Active) Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 13, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 13, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts and set the timings to Cass 2-3-2-5 with the Rass to Cass set to "3". If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
