MarioGarcia
hello I am editing this post due to new information that has come at hand. I have bought from an online retailer one set of twinx1024 3200c2pt. each module is 512 mb. I believe one of the modules is faulty. because when I put two modules in the motherboard in slots 1 and 3 of my abit IC7; there's no video signal; I thought it was due to my powersupply as when I put only one module in slot 1 the monitor turned itself on. that was on Saturday, today out of curiosity I took the module that was in the motherboard; and put in the other module to test it on its own and guess what, again no video signal.. it means that there's something wrong with that memory module. the machines seems to boot properly, fan and bips are there but no video signal. so i hope I'll get some support fro you guys thank you
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 13, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 13, 2005 Please test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and I would set the Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts as well. If you do find one failing then lets get it or them replaced. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! However; if you get errors with both modules, that would suggest some other problem. And I would try testing the memory in another system to be sure.
