HS80 earpads

I know the earpads were pulling apart and delaminating due to poor glue adhesion, has that been resolved?

I've got the same issue oddly enough!

I'm wondering is corsair going to release replacement cups that are official?
As currently via googling I  can see we can by some from amazon on third-party but I would rather official ones.

As for resolving it, I'd say either by fabric glue or by replacement cups that are third party I'm going to see how long I can go before they completely fall apart but the deterioration pretty quick it would seem

I had read in another thread some time ago they were looking into the issue but sounds like they haven't found a solution. This is definitely not the Corsair of old. Lots of substandard gear and poor customer service. The days of RamGuy and Yellowbeard are missed.

Honestly it is strange!

I've been a big time corsair user for maybe 13 years now; And this would be the first time I've gone "hold up why is the item falling apart so early?"

Like my Void Pro which was 8 years old only started having earcup issues after 6-7 years rather perplexed;

Hopefully I don't need to buy thirdparty to resolve this issue but I'm feeling like I might have to at this stage

Yeah, I have a HS70 Pro and right after the warranty, the earcups and headband deteriorated all at once. The battery never charged over 90% and finally couldn't hold a charge. I was able to replace the battery, not an easy task, and the ear pads. Replacing the headband is a big job so I thought a new headset was in order. I was looking at the HS80 but with the earpad issues, I am having second thoughts.....

I ended up buying some amazon replacement ear cups; so far so good;

But overall they fell apart super quickly which was strange, I could of made a warranty claim but overall the headset works very well and still is the best mic headset I've ever used
