My virtuoso's bluetooth range is horrible

I've had this headset for little more than a year and now I can't even leave my room without them disconnecting from my computer, I have to be right next to it in order for me to be able to use them.

I just got Virtuoso SE yesterday and I'm having same problem with the range. I usually just turn it off when I leave my room but range is very poor indeed. It was advertised as 60ft for Virtuoso SE but more of 9ft to me at least. I had same poor range issue on HS80 followed by sound cutting off every few seconds but I'm not having that issue on this one. I just ordered the Corsair headset stand for mine so might help with range maybe if I connect the dongle directly to it. 60ft seem like stretch to me and mine doesn't stay connect that far. I've tested both HS80 and Virtuoso SE so both has poor range. This issue might have to do with the dongle's limitation.
