w7n
I'm watching all the loading bars progress after pressing the "Update now" button and even got through the installer; iCUE still says it's on version 4.12.214 (I don't know why it's on such an old version) Am I updating it incorrectly somehow? Corsair Employees Corsair Raven Posted August 19, 2022 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 19, 2022 Hey there, I would go ahead and clean install iCUE using the intructions here: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE- If for whatever reason, if you have issues with uninstalling or installing iCUE, check out the following article: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/6771456768013-How-to-Fix-issues-with-installing-or-uninstalling-iCUE
CindyH
Something to do with the latest update has cause windows firewall to block the update checker. Disable firewall, update, then turn firewall back on.
Funkster
Warning - DONT CLEAN INSTALL! I had same issue and performed clean install. I then had to reconfigure everything again (Lighting Setups etc) ....which is hard as you have to remember which components are on what channels ....unless you want to take PC apart! .....OH and as a bonus I have now lost 50% of my LED Strips ...which are now refusing to light! .........So my advise is don't do it unless you want to spend hours of time troubleshooting! Also the Clean Install instructions and associated "export profiles" web page fails to state that you will lose all NEXUS profiles if you don't manually back these up SEPERATELY ! so More time wasted! Funkster
Oh and Exported Profiles dont store any icon or background information so more time to spend setting them back up. Great feature!
