Dominator Platinum RGB one stick does not light up after shutdown or sleep

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have just built a system on an ASUS TUF B550 Micro ATX board with a 5950x and 4x16gb dominator platinum 3600 cl16 ram kit. I have a problem where when i first tuned it on the stick in dimm slot 2 did not light up. I installed icue and forced a firmware update and then it lit up properly. The trouble is that when i hibernate or shutdown or sleep the computer upon turning it on i get the 1 stick not lighting up again, and i have to go into icue and force firmware update to make it light up everytime. Is there anything i can do the firmware on the sticks is v 1.04.28.

Hello

I have exactly the same issue. Just bought some RAM today and only one stick is not showing RGB after power off/on. Have to iCue force update to get the RGB to show up.

Is the RAM faulty?

This is literally me every time as well. I don't understand why it happens but its only after shutdown or hibernation, waking up from sleep keeps the settings fine but the other two I have to force an update.

I've been having the exact same issue as well, I have a 128GB Dominator Platinum kit. Forcing firmware updates makes the troublesome stick light up. As soon as the PC is shut down for an extended amount of time. The same stick will fail to light up. Is there any update on this as it seems to be a common issue now?

Are you using Windows Fast Boot/Start that is really a hibernation state?
