crashnburnxp
Hey guys, I am looking at upgrading my computer soon. Pretty much everything. Waiting until the intel 13th gen and Zen4 release to see which is better. I am not really bringing anything from my old build except for my 3080 Ti. Currently, I have 6 HD120 fans in my computer that I have been running for years that I want to replace. However, I cant seem to find them anywhere online anymore including Corsair's own website. Id get the HD140's, but the 360 AIO that I am going with does not support 140mm fans so this is not an option for me. I know the HD120's are great rad fans so looking for a good, Corsair replacement. TIA.
LeDoyen
the HD series is discontinued., so you'd have to fall back to another serie. I used HDs for the longest time and it's a bit sad to see them go because there's no real alternative to the crystal frame look now. But they were noisy buggers on radiators even if they performed well! Maybe have a look at the new ML Elite, if you favor performance over bling.

I was looking at maybe the SP120 RGB Pro as it pushes similar CFM but wanted to get opinions. Ill look into the ML Elites as I havent heard anything about them. LeDoyen
The SP120 Pro are not PWM fans, so it may be complicated to drive now that most controllers are PWM only.

LeDoyen
you won't notice the difference once you put a radiator or a dust filter in front of them. Those values are like wind tunnel measures, the fan in open air with zero obstructions. It will be the static pressure that matters more and in that regard they are pretty similar. but the Elite is bound to be more silent.

The SP-Elites have a lower maximum speed than some fans and were primarily intended as standard case fans. The ML-Elite will have a higher maximum speed and even if you like to keep the speed down, is a slightly better choice for a radiator. Both fans are RGB identical. The ML-Elite 120mm will make less noise than a HD120 on a radiator. I am running 4 right now on a 60mm thick model. It's plenty of airflow at moderate speed. As mentioned above, no good direct replacement for the HD series and we could use a new clear frame fan -- something that is not overly abundant in the general market.
