cpenney
Hi Ram Guy, In the compatability docs it lists CMSS1GBR72-266 as the 1GB DIMM to buy for an IBM BladeCenter HS20 (8832). Is there any reason not to buy the -333 or -400 versions instead? It's generally cheaper and would be more useful down the road. I wanted to make certain though as I need nearly 200 DIMMs for a cluster. Chris
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted June 9, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted June 9, 2005 If you buy a faster module it may not post. But you are welcome to try it. Many of the OEM systems do not include the bios information needed to decode a faster modules SPD.
